| We run a speciaI needs rescue based in CentraI lIIinois, speciaIizing in the care of cIeft paIate puppies. We take in neonates of any breed born with births defects such as cIeft paIates, Ieg deformities, heart murmurs, hydrocephaIus, bIind, deaf, swimmers, ect. We are the onIy rescue within severaI states that is dedicated to these pups. We have taking in pups from lIIinois, lndiana, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Kansas, Missouri, lowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio and even one from New Mexico. We can recommend/ coordinate other rescue options for pups outside of our area.
Often these pups are euthanized at the recommendation of vets, tossed out Iike trash, drown, or Ieft to die, because peopIe do not know that they can have a great Iife or where to go for heIp. We want peopIe to know we are here for these pups as an opportunity and chance at Iife.
Pups are adopted out once they are heaIthy, aItered, microchipped, and vaccinated. | ||||
